Know the odds
on every SPX level,
before the open.

The way quant desks read the market, built for the public.

Data is everywhere. The interpretation isn't. Every morning before the open, morphic turns the options market into a map of the session ahead, in odds and in plain words.

The problem

Signals tell you what to do.
Never why, or what the odds are.

A GEX map hands you a number at every strike. A signal hands you a direction. Neither says how likely anything is, and that is exactly what the options market prices.

What a GEX tool hands you
  1. Hundreds of numbers, and not one probability.
  2. Five named levels inside 90 points. Which one matters today?
  3. +3.4B. Big compared to what? Does price stall there, or speed through it?
  4. Net, call, put, vanna, charm: five views, five different stories.
It shows where exposure sits. It never says how likely price is to get there, or what happens when it does.
What morphic reads from the same book

Compared, the map has a slow side and a fast side. Rallies grip, declines slip.

Chance a decline reaches the thin stretch at 7,75535%
Chance a rally reaches the sticky price at 7,84818%
The amount means nothing alone. The comparison, with its odds, is the read.
What morphic is

A stochastic model, designed to reveal the hidden market bet.

Built by traders and quantitative researchers. Every morning before the open, it reads that day's option prices and the crowd's positions, and publishes a full probabilistic read of the session. Not a signal: a map.

  • Reads the book. That morning's option prices, the positions the crowd holds and the volume that traded.

  • Models every outcome. A full distribution of the session ahead, never a single forecast.

  • Hands you odds. The chance each level is touched and where the close lands, in plain English.

Example
Target up7,88012% touch
Up pivot7,84818% touch
Centroid7,815balance
Down pivot7,79046% touch
Thin stretch7,75535% touch

Rallies grip, declines slip. Half of all closes land between 7,796 and 7,836.

Edge down7,769a move turns into a tail

How we formulate the map

How a map is made, in fourteen steps. Example figures.
  1. The day's and week's options. We take the numbers from the day's and the week's options chains.
  2. Mapped. We map them across every strike.
  3. The skew. From those prices we create the day's skew.
  4. Who holds what. We derive today's positioning: customers or dealers, and the size.
  5. Liquid and illiquid areas. We derive the gamma again and again to find where liquidity is thick and where it is thin (proprietary).
  6. Realized volatility. We map where realized volatility will slow down and where it will expand (proprietary).
  7. The forces. We mark where the forces accelerate, calm down or neutralize (proprietary).
  8. Market mechanics. We deploy market mechanics on top of it.
  9. Volume. We deploy the volume layer on top of that (proprietary).
  10. Probabilities. We deploy the probabilistic layer: odds on every level (proprietary).
  11. The hidden bet. We identify the hidden market bet for the day.
  12. The scoring loop. We measure what the market did against the model's distribution, to sharpen the next map (proprietary).
  13. Noise, used in advance. Whatever happens inside the session is noise, and traders have little edge there. We use the noise before it occurs to draw the map.
  14. The session ahead. We create the map for the session ahead.
What you do with it

Know your odds before you take the trade.

Read it before the open. Trade against it during the session. Test your own plan on it.

Before the open

Read the map

The levels the crowd's book cares about, each with its odds.

During the session

Watch the tape against it

Levels are checkpoints, not triggers. Whether price grips or runs is the read.

Your trade

Test your plan

Enter an entry, stop and target. Get the chance the target comes first, the hit rate the trade needs, and its expected value.

Every day

Learn the method

Every section explains itself. Ask Lens answers the rest.

Why trust it

Built by a research team. Scored every session.

Every number on the map comes from the engine's published record, not from an opinion. The map is fixed before the bell, built only from market prices, and held to account as odds, not as a winning streak.

When there is no edge, it says so.

Held to account

One day proves nothing.

Odds are judged across many sessions, the way odds are meant to be read.

Fixed in advance

Published before the bell and never redrawn. A re-issue is marked on the page.

Scored as odds

Do closes land in the box half the time, and outside the rails about one time in ten?

Built from market prices

Option prices, positions and volume. No indicators, no opinions.

A research team behind it

Quantitative researchers and traders, revising the method as the market changes.

Ask Lens

Ask the map anything.
Or let your AI ask.

Ask Lens answers questions about the day's map in plain English, grounded in the published record. The same maps work as tools in Claude and other AI clients, through morphic's MCP server.

Ask LensExample

youWhere does the map grip today, and how likely is a fall to 7,755?

lensRallies grip, declines slip: below the down pivot the book thins out. The market's odds of a touch at 7,755 are 35%. That is a probability, not a call.

Plain English

Ask the way you think. Every section on the map can also explain itself.

Grounded in the record

Every figure in an answer comes from the published map. It explains; it never tells you what to trade.

Questions

Questions, answered.

Anything else? Ask Lens, or start with the Academy.

What do I get every day?

One map before each session, in three readings: positioning, the volatility profile and the volume profile. Plus the live chart and Ask Lens.

How is this different from a gamma map?

A gamma map shows exposure as colours and leaves you to guess. morphic turns the same book into odds: the chance each level is touched and where the close lands.

Is it a signal service?

No. morphic never says up or down and never tells you what to trade. It gives probabilities and the reasoning behind them.

Which markets, and what does it cost?

SPX index options and ES futures. One plan, $69 a month, for everything. Cancel any time.

Does it work with my AI assistant?

Yes. Ask Lens is built in, and subscribers can connect Claude or another MCP client to morphic with a private key, so the day's maps become tools inside it.

Is this investment advice?

No. It is market-structure commentary, not a recommendation.
